Over the last decade, there has been a quiet rumbling from the shadows of history, giving way to countless remarkable reissues of albums once lost. Within this broad resurgence, has come a growing focus on Italy’s remarkable movement of avant-garde and experimental musics which blossomed between the late 1960’s and the late 80’s. Landlocked and heard by almost no-one outside of its country’s borders, this assembly of diverse artists was bound by a remarkable sense of curiosity and democratic ears, often incorporating various musical traditions from across the globe into their own, rather than by single or cohesive sound. We are thrilled witness and profile a series of important additions this effort, the extraordinary 1984-85 works from Daniel Bacalov - Il Ladro Di Anime and Diario Segreto, Ambienti Coassiali’s legendary cassette from 1988, Vol. 1 - Room 1-6, with a perfect compliment, Ambienti Coassiali’s first recorded release in 29 years, Spare Rooms - a stunning trio, which no fan of the Italian avant-garde will want to miss.

It is the narrow, hidden tracks that lead back to our lost homeland, what contains the solution to the last mysteries is not the ugly scar that life´s rasp leaves on us, but the fine, almost invisible writing that is engraved on our body.

México Mágico Cósmico, 1981
While Mexico didn’t always suffer as badly as some of its neighbors, during the period which stretched from the early 70’s to the mid-80’s, its government banned radio and recording industry access to all musics which bore the perception of a counter-cultural threat, leaving an era of documentary silence, with only a small number of artists able to produce limited private releases. Among the most legendary of them is Luis Pérez’s Ipan In Xiktli Metzli, México Mágico Cósmico, En El Ombligo De La Luna, the reissue of which rest before us now, released with care and love by Mr. Bongo.
Overwhelmingly beautiful, engaging, and, at times, surprisingly playful and joyous, this is unquestionably one of the most important records of this era to have been released in Mexico, if not the entirely of Latin America. Incredibly important from cultural, historical, and creative points of view.

'Inner Vision Laboratory' releases his new studio album 'Relics' on our Winter-Light label.
The inspiration for this album came from different science-fiction and post-apocalyptic books and movies, but also from the artists’ personal thoughts regarding mankind’s condition.
‘Relics’ is a musical illustration for the very distant future, where humanity has failed in its progress and moved to total annihilation. Relics are the only things humanity has left behind. Other higher advanced civilisations will come to visit our now desolate planet to collect these relics; these fading tokens of the past. They come to visit the Museum of Savages, who destroyed their own habitat and rendered their once beautiful planet uninhabitable.
'Inner Vision Laboratory' is a musical project brought into existence by the Polish artist/musician Karol Skrzypiec. Created in March 2005, stylistically the project qualifies as industrial dark ambient. Nevertheless, it also includes elements of ethnic music, classical music, et al.

offers finest ambient / chamber jazz / subtle drones of a highly meditative quality. Available as 180gr LP and download.
Be it solo, as member of the drone duo NADJA or B/B/S (his trio with ANDREA BELFI and ERIK SKODVIN / SVARTE GREINER) or in various collaborations
with artists like TIM HECKER or THISQUIETARMY: the Berlin-based Canadian is one of the most productive and versatile artists when it’s about postrock,
drone or ambient and without doubt a true master on his instrument, the guitar. In recent years BAKER also starting exploring new grounds as a composer
of contemporary / ensemble music – e.g. his composition "An Instance Of Rising" was commissioned by SPÓŁDZIELNIA MUZYCZNA CONTEMPORARY ENSEMBLE and SACRUM PROFANUM FESTIVAL for their 2017 edition. “Invisible Cities” marks BAKER’s first collaboration with GARETH DAVIS whose
eclectic oeuvre spans contemporary classical, free improvisation and orchestral music through to rock, noise and electronica. The bass clarinetist is a
steady member of the critically acclaimed post-rock formation OISEAUX-TEMPÊTE and A-SUN AMISSA, interpreted compositions by ALVIN LUCIER with MACHINEFABRIEK, worked with BERNHARD LANG and PETER ABLINGER, performed with musicians like NY Downtown veteran Elliott Sharp, MERZBOW
or ROBIN RIMBAUD (aka SCANNER) and realized multimedia work with artists including CHRISTIAN MARCLAY and PETER GREENAWAY.
Recorded in November 2016 at MUZIEKHUIS, Utrecht, the four tracks create a calm, even meditative atmosphere in their reduced manner that gives much
room to the individual instruments / sounds, occasionally spiced up by field recordings that intensify the overall chamber jazz / ambient moods.
